"As backdrop to Karloff's 1931 movie "Frankenstein" was an originally composed and live soundtrack. MusicWorks and the Berkshire Music School hosted the movie/concert as performed by Michael Shapiro, a composer and pianist from the Berkshires. I had only seen/heard a program like this one other time - Alloy Orchestra performing with the silent film "Joan of Arc" - and was thoroughly impressed. This Halloween treat was equally engaging."
